What you eat affects your baby, you will hear everyone saying this repeatedly and it’s a true fact.
A healthy nutritious diet and you’re sure to deliver a healthy bouncy baby and a unhealthy diet and your baby will be under weight.
It’s not easy to transform your diet completely but all we ask you to do is take an extra effort to improve it.

Not taking care of one’s nutrition is bound to affect you and your baby.
If hungry grabbing a soda and chips or coffee and cookie will fill you up but also have adverse effects on your system.

Everyone wants their babies to be healthy and so do we and for that all you need to do is having an active regime and good nutritious food.
Times have changed nowadays everything is available is all stores. Our moms had to take extra efforts to make and eat and now all you need to do is buy and eat.
Poor pregnancy diet will affect the baby and that is a clear fact. Inadequate nutrition will show all thru your pregnancy in form of acute morning sickness, heart burn, constipation, and lethargy and body discomfort. Even after child birth it will take longer for you to heal and while breast feeding you will not produce enough milk.
It’s your choice now, if you do want to go thru the above mentioned discomfort all you need to do is eat good nutritional food.

Instead of gabbing cookies or fries or chips when hungry try and eat whole wheat sandwich or salad or a yogurt or a fruit, you have so many choices to eat. It’s not bad to once in a way indulge in junk but once in a way. There is a strong reason why this food group is called JUNK food as it’s nothing else but junk it will do no good to you, all it will help is in pilling up extra kilos and making you and your baby obese.
You are pregnant now you have a child in your womb and being responsible towards your and your baby’s health is your duty.

For prenatal nutrition all you need to do is making sure you food consists of varied food groups listed below-

Carbohydrates – in form of whole wheat bread, white or brown rice, whole wheat or multi grain naans, whole wheat or drum wheat pasta, noodles.

Proteins- in form of chicken, turkey, lean meats, salmon and other kinds of fish, eggs , tofu and all kinds of nuts

Vitamins and minerals- in form of green salad leaves, all kinds of vegetables and fruits as well as dried fruits like prunes apricots and dates.

Calcium – in form of dairy products like milk, soy milk, cottage cheese, all form of cheese, cheese spreads, yogurt
 
What you eat is what you and your infant will be. Healthy food means Healthy you and Healthy baby
